The menus at Apothecary East showcase contemporary Japanese small plates. Our cooking is progressive whilst also respectful to traditional flavours, ingredients and cooking techniques.
Signature dishes include black sesame cauliflower, kakuni bbq pork belly, salmon den miso maki rolls, Wagyu bavette and miso glazed aubergine. Best enjoyed with an Umeshu Hai or one of our other cocktail specials.

Our versatile venue is perfect for a variety of functions and events with five unique areas to choose from.
Centrally located in the city with stylish interiors, we’ve played host to everything from simple group get-togethers, to business dinners with a difference and even intimate wedding receptions. For larger affairs the whole venue may be privatised for seated meals of up to 110 guests or 150 people for canapes and drinks.

Delivering a great guest experience is really important to us so when it comes to music, we like to be a little different. After all a great playlist will set the vibe and elevate your mood. Resident DJs on rotation play an eclectic mix of retro disco, funk and soul, every Friday and Saturday night for guaranteed good times!
Saturday brunch is another highlight here, offering a lively start to the weekend with bottomless highball cocktails, all carefully crafted, and paired with umami packed small plates to share.
